Does anyone have any cute ideas for Halloween costumes with a theme?  My boys will be 6 months and 2 1/2 this coming Halloween, and I really want to dress them up as a pair of something, like a hot dog and hamburger, maybe.  Has anyone ever done this before or have any cute ideas?  Right now I'm leaning towards a fireman and a dalmatian, but would love to hear your ideas!!!

A co-worker of mine has a picture of her two nephews up at her desk and they were Mario and Luigi from Mario Bros.  They were so cute with their mustaches!  It might be possible with a 6 month old?

I think your idea is really cute, but if you want more ideas, this is what I've come up with:

a monkey and a banana

a pumpkin and a farmer

Yoda and Darth Vader

Dracula and a bat

a shepherd and a lamb

I think the monkey/banana one would be the cutest out of what I came up with, and I know I've seen banana bunting costumes. Whatever you decide will be adorable, I'm sure. I love Halloween. I need to start thinking of a theme for my kids!

I have b/g twins and had the same idea for them last year. Here are some of the suggestions I got: Yellow & Red M&M, Elmo & Cookie Monster, pig and big bad wolf. But I love your idea of fireman and dalmatian!

I have seen people dress up there kids as Thing 1 and Thing 2 like in Dr. Seuss books.

How about a fisherman & a fish
Well, my son was born in october so the first time i dressed he was not even a month yet! My boyfriend and i were farmers and our son was a cob of corn. It was so cute. I can see this working with twins! Farmer and a veggie or two veggies! :)
2 cute! I am going to suggest this to hubby. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and so will be born in less than 8 weeks. Just in time to trigger treat.

I think Batman and Robin would be cute, and topical what with the movie just coming out!

My daughter is going as a police officer and my husband is dressing as a prisoner.  That would work for brothers, too.
