I did! Definitely worth it.

I had a c-section with my son in 2007. When I had my daughter in last year I was able to have a vaginal birth. It was a much better experience overall. I had a midwife birth at a hospital. I did need a few stitches (3 I think) and then got really anemic because I hemorrhaged a little, but still it was WAY better than the c-section. I was up and walking around within in hours, and my body was so much more comfortable.

Find a hospital that supports your right to VBAC. You won't regret it!

thank u so much for ur encouragement.

This is one of the main reasons I don't want another child. I had to have an emergency c-section with my son. My only option for a VBAC would to be at a hospital a few hours away. I definitely don't want another C-Section....but I was told that because of the complications I had with my first that it would be highly likely that I would need another if I decided to have another child. My decision to not have any more came down to this: Do I try a VBAC (knowing that it is unlikely I will be able to do it) at a hospital where my doctor doesn't deliver and put my body in the hands of someone I don't know. Or do I have another C-section with my doctor who I love and who tried to do everything he could for me before doing a c-section (and leaving me with the tiniest scar possible only about 1 1/2 inches in length).  Since neither option was what I want...I decided no more kids.  I hope that you have luck with your VBAC. I have known a few women who have had them. The trick is finding a doctor and hospital that allows/encourages it. I have heard your best luck is with a Doula. Best wishes!

thank u so much for ur response

You are very welcome....sorry it wasn't an uplifting response. I truly hope that you get to have the birth that you desire.
