baby grinding his teeth
he just started growing teeth, i just noticed he stay grinding his teeth. no matter what i give him to bite on he still grind his teeth. not to sure what else to do. is it a phase ?

i am so glad to see this is a normal thing because my 10 month old has 4 teeth and does it frequently. i was going to call a dentist but i guess this solves my mystery. thanks everyone

Mine Grinds, but I haven't noticed it in the last few days. I think it's a phase because he is doing it during the day and when you are aware you can break the habit. I grind my teeth every night, they told me it was a phase and 28 years later I still grind. Just this year I have developed TMJ. If they are doing it at night I suggest having them sleep on their back because your mouth is normally more relaxed in that position. I've asked dentists my whole life about it and nothing except a $300 night guard that always ends up lost in my bed.

it's a phase, now he do it so often. so nothing to worry about. but he has two more coming. hopefully he doesnt start again. i hate that grinding sound!

my son grinded his for a week or two and then he just stop. It is werid and I did call his dentist. His dentist said it is ok unlles you start to see a change in his teeth.
