That is right around the age my sister and I were. We are 2 years 17 days apart. I wouldn't think its too soon. My wife and I are also going for number 2. My son is only 8 months old. I would say if your ready for 2 in diapers...go for it ;)

whatever works for you is what's right! i just found out i'm having #2 and i have a 9 month old so they'll be about 16 months apart so i think you'll be having an easier time than me ;) good luck

We just had our 2nd, and our 1st is 18 months.  She has really accepted her new baby sister well.  Of course all kids are different!  We make sure, however, to still give #1 her special attention and not ignore her because of the baby, which is important.

No, it's not too soon.  If you and your husband are ready emotionally, physically and financially, it will be fine.  Our daughters are 16 months apart, then we had a son 22 months later.  If you can survive the fun (insanity) of the first five years, you've got it made!  Actually we weren't even financially prepared, but we made it anyway, by the grace of God!  Now they're in their late 30s & early 40s and best friends.  We coudn't ask for anything more.

You have to do what is good for your family . Different people will have all kinds of opinions. It's between you and your husband. Don't worry about anyone else! Good luck with the house

My daughter is 2 weeks and 3 days shy of 2 years older than her brother, although it was tough in the beginning they absolutely adore one another and I wouldn't have it any other way.

No.
