Hi my name is Aniceta and my daughter Rayna just turned 7months on August 24th. She still isn't crawling and I was wondering if this is normal. Every time she is on her stomach she just rolls her self over to her back. She sits up no problem if we sit her up she can stay that way without any help. I've tried helping her crawl and putting toys down out of reach but she just won't do it.

I have seven month old twin girls and while one is sitting up by herself crawling and standing on things the other one is just learning to hold her head up and turn over I brought this to the attention of my pediatrician and he referred her to occupational therapy so u may wanna do the same just to be safe.

My son didn't crawl until he was 8 1/2 months old. It's totally normal for a 7-month-old to not be crawling. Since she's able to sit up and roll, she's perfect. Some babies never crawl; they go right to pulling up and walking. It's all normal :)

My nephew didn't crawl until late....at least 8 months or older.  He didn't even walk until he was 18 months old.  All kids do it at different times, don't worry too much.  If she can sit up and roll over, she'll do it one day out of the blue.  Just like walking, it happens that way too.

my lily didnt crawl til 8 mnths.her child developmental worker says some will be early and some will be late. just keep working with her. now she is 13 months and want let go to walk. so i hope this easies ur mind alittle.

Thank you everyone for the comments. I feel better now.
My lo never crawled. At 9 months she stood up and ran around the room. My nephew also didn't crawl but at almost 12mo stood up and walked. The Dr told her that every kid is different and maybe bc he was so big is why.

my baby gurl is 16 months old she didnt start until she was 8 months old

Crawling at seven months seems early, one of mine didn't crawl until 10 months, then was walking two months later. Your baby is doing exactly what she is ready to do, and totally within normal time range! Don't sweat it, mama!

My daughter did not crawl until she was 10 months old. As long as she is physically able to do the other things she should be able to at this age like holding her head up, sitting, and rolling then it should be fine.

Babies crawl at their own pace. Smaller babies tend to crawl earlier than bigger babies. From my experience my son is 7 months (august 18th) and he did just roll over but now he will try to push up onto all 4's but he is 24lbs, thats alot of body weight he has to work with. Normal crawling age is from 7-9 months. My goddaughter crawled at 9 months and she is half his weight. She will crawl when she is ready and it is normal.

My daughter walked furniture before she crawled she was about 8 months every baby is different dont worry about it when she is ready she will crawl!

My daughter is 10months old now. She didn't start crawling till 8 months. At 7 months would scoot backward everywhere but didn't actually take off going forward till 8 months.
